Good Cheer Tri-Fold Christmas Card

This simple Christmas card uses the beauty of the 'vintage' style Santa which required very little coloring to be WOW!  Two thumbs WAY up for the Stampin' Up! artist who designed this stamp set. I like this 'alternative' to the regular fold in half card, but it is still just half a piece of cardstock.  I cut the Garden Green cardstock at 4 1/4 x 11 and scored it at 2 3/8 and 7 5/8 with the ... Tri-Shutter Thanksgiving Card

Okay, this might be my last 'Thanksgiving' share! The 'tri-shutter' card looks a lot harder than it actually is (as evidenced by the fact that I could do this at all!). I hand scored/cut all of the tri-shutter cards for our Fall Stamp Festival that I am sharing here.  The good news is that I can now officially cut and score one of these in my sleep! I have included the diagram... you know ... View Post

Fall Leaves Stationery Holder

This is a very simple 'pocketbook' style stationery holder that looks more involved because of how it is decorated. You can click to download the step-by-step instructions as well as diagrams and recipe on how to make this easy but very functional card holder. If you are in the Philadelphia area this weekend, I will be at the Sheridan, King of Prussia, PA as a vendor at the ... View Post

Autumn Days Stair Step Card

This simple 'Stair Step' card was inspired by a swap I received at convention.  I thought that it was a unique way to show off several 'layers' of interest before the main card. And it stands nicely too!  I've seen it before without the side 'bar' (seen here with herringbone patterned paper) however without it, it isn't very strong.  You can be sure the you'll see me use it ... Classic Christmas Card

I love the 'tent' style cards... especially if you don't have much to say!  Okay, just KIDDING! The 'base' of the card is 4 1/4 x 7 1/2 folded and a 3x4 inch piece of designer series paper covers the front of it.  I used my favorite 'finial press' embossing folder as usual and that combined with the wide satin ribbon makes this very elegant. You can't see the fine lines of glitter along the ... View Post
