This is another envelope trick--probably the easiest one! I think the second photo (left) is clearer for details so I included it. I made this with Stampin' Up!'s® 'large white' envelope (#107291) and sealed it completely shut. I punch 'down' each side as far as I could (1 1/2 times) with the large Tag punch and the strip down the middle becomes the handle. You can put ... View Post
Thankful Season – Large Open End Envelope
Again with the envelopes (and my new favorite set). I want all you ladies out there who are rushing to your demonstrator to purchase this set to let your rep know she can Paypal me 10% of her commission, LOL! The envelopes that I used are the same ones in my last post, they are the Large Open End Envelopes from Stampin' Up! but you can use regular #10 envelopes as well. Stamp and then ... View Post
Thankful Season “Envelope Trick” (Updated)
This neat little 'envelope trick' idea was given to me by my wonderful & talented friend Amanda Coughlin from whom I steal ideas from all the time! She made a card with insert like this last spring for a swap. Of course I run with her great ideas (and then unfortunately I am the one remembered for them not her!). Leave her a sympathy message on her blog, LOL! UPDATED INFO --The ... View Post
Gift bag from an Envelope– Part II
This is an update for all the questions that I have gotten! You can see in the photo the regular medium Vanilla envelope was sealed and (holding it portrait) using the tag punch, punch out each side, leaving the flap in the middle as a handle. I actually can get down one and a half punches to make the handle longer. Trim the outer 45 degree angle left from the tag punch off to square off the ... View Post
Gift Bag from an Envelope
This cute little bag was made from a regular sized vanilla envelope... sealed and then the "tag punch" was used to punch the sides and what's left in the middle forms the handle and you can slip something small in it. I got this adorable idea from my downline Jackie Schultz who borrowed my Doodle This set and when she returned it, included a sample of the one she made with it! Thank you ... View Post
Envelope Trick #2
So, for my next trick... ooops! Oh well, I have been overloaded lately and haven't started working with my new Spring Mini Catalog stuff (am I allowed to admit that?!). This gift enclosure was one that I made two years ago for my brother-in-law and his wife on their new home. It is three of our larger envelopes with the flaps tucked into one another and the insides covered with a strip ... View Post
Just Delightful Folio
This terrific "photo folio" idea was shared at Leadership this year. I did cheap out and cut my own (not purchase the pre-made kit). The sets used were Delight in Life (SAB) and "Be Happy". This is another teaser for my Stamp Festival this Saturday. Here's a peek on the construction: As you can figure out this is cut from a 12 x 12 sheet, 4 1/2 inches wide and scored to fit our Mini ... Very Punny & Envelope Trick
As I get ready to leave for Leadership tomorrow morning early, I am uploading my last entry until I come back on Sunday. I hope that Houston weather holds out and we get warm & sun (I dislike cold weather!) This is what I lovingly refer to as a "cheap envelope trick" done with the SAB set "Very Punny". The inside of this half sheet (cut 11 x 4 1/4 scored and folded) is two ... View Post
Mini Gift Card Idea
This great "gift card" holder is actually two large envelopes (4 3/4 x 6 1/2) attached at the tops. One flap is glued inside the other flap to hindge like a book. I used Lovely Lilac cardstock to line the envelopes (just enough for where it shows) to cover the fact that they are envelopes. You can buy the mini 3x3 envelopes in packages of 40 now, which I LOVE--I can make ... View Post
Snowman Soup
This is an idea I got years ago when I received an "envelope book" in a swap. I wanted to see more ideas with this style of book, so I had a contest and in it, I got a "snowman soup" entry from that I just LOVED from a Debbie Fisher that I shamelessly CASE'd. I am sharing the photo as well as the Word Documents that have all of the writing that you see on it. Click here ... View Post
