Snowman Soup

This is an idea I got years ago when I received an "envelope book" in a swap.  I wanted to see more ideas with this style of book, so I had a contest and in it, I got a "snowman soup" entry from that I just LOVED from a Debbie Fisher that I shamelessly CASE’d. I am sharing the photo as well as the Word Documents that have all of the writing that you see on it. Click here for the "main poem" on the front. Click here for the words on the inside. To see my original contest and the inspiration, click here. Snowman Soup I pull this out every other year and "recycle" the idea to new friends and customers and it is always well received! The snowman is from Holiday Tag Team and the other sets are Snowflakes and the square stamp set eludes me (we have a few sets with that stamp and I am being lazy!).

I learned how to make this at a previous stamp festival. I made a bunch of these for this past Christmas and everyone who received one was impressed by them!

I make these every year, just as the weather gets cold. I give it to the kids teachers, bus driver…and religous ed. class. I usually just put mine in clear bags. I have never seen, nor know how to make, the envelope book. I love this presentation. Can you send me the instructions, too?

I don’t have an instruction sheet per se, this project is envelopes that are attached together and the ‘pockets’ hold the snowman soup. There are links to the project page as well as downloads for the Snowman Soup poem and any words used. Hope this helps!

That is just too cute. I find it amazing how you can package this to look so appealing.
