Sponged Landscape

This is the first of two samples of a ‘faux horizon’ using sponge daubers and dye inks on ‘glossy’ cardstock.

With this sample, I have included a short video clip on how to do this simple, yet effective technique.

Scenic SeasonThe set used here is ‘Scenic Season’ #115354, Sponge daubers and Barely Banana, Blush Blossom and Bashful Blue inks and glossy cardstock.

You can’t tell from the photo but the horizon line was done with glitter.  Enjoy the video, and feel free to leave feedback!

Amy, I have to tell you I just loved your video for faux horizon. Wowzers it’s a beauty! I’ve made a few samples and posted them on SCS and my blog. I directed all to your blog to see how you do this beautiful technique. Thank you for sharing this with us. Bless you and enjoy your Christmas. Sue
