“Clearly” Lovely, Baroque Motifs

Baroque MotifsThis card was made with the Baroque Motifs set in the new ‘Blue Bayou’ In Color.

The base of the card is white and the first layer is ‘Blue Bayou’ cardstock stamped in ‘Blue Bayou’ ink.

The top layer is a piece of overhead transparency (from OfficeMax) stamped in White StazOn (ink that dries on nonporous surfaces).   Any sheet acetate will do, the one I used was very a very cheap transparency sheet (and you get 4 to a card).  Buy a box of a hundred 8 1/2 by 11 transparencies and you are set for life!

UPDATE:  in response to all of the questions on how it was adhered, I used a small amount of monoadhesive under the “cherish” tag so you wouldn’t see it through.

The focal greeting was stamped in ‘Blue Bayou’ on white and then punched out with the lovely ‘Designer Label’ punch (now available by itself in the new catalog).  I am excited that this punch is available with the entire punch box kit as I use it often and I know you’ll love it to (but maybe don’t want the kit cost)!  I adhered it with Dimensionals(tm).

I did use our old narrow organdy ribbon but I’ll be featuring our new ribbon with my next projects.

I can’t tell from the photo. Did you stamp on the Transparency paper and cut out, or does it lay on top like vellum?

    Amy,
I’m in awe everytime I see your work. What did you use to adhere the transparency to the card stock? Would love your information. Also did you get the stamp cleaner for Stazon? Thanks…

I adhered the transparency with monoadhesive underneath the “tag” greeting so you couldn’t see the adhesive
