I made this card for a swap that I am in and should be finishing them rather than playing with my blog!
So, since I am already being bad, I might as well go all the way! I made the card with the new Baroque Motifs stamp set in one of the new ‘In Color’ paper and ink called “River Rock.” The decorative paper strip is from the new Brocade Background “Designer Series” paper that matched fabulously.
The rhinestone brad in the center is one of our newest accessories. There are four sets of “Fire & Ice” in square or round each, in two different “4 color” assortments . I used the Ice “square” in green for some and in the yellow in others (yellow is shown).
The coordinating color is vanilla and I touched it up with swirls of dazzling diamonds glitter put on with a fine line of Stampin’ Up! glue pen.
Somehow this was a WAY better idea when I made one– making 22 of them was less fun!
Beautiful. This is my favorite new set. I can’t put it down. And now you gave me another reason to keep using it.
This is a wonderful card. It is so elegant. I just happened upon your blog and it has become one of my favorites. I love your style. Keep up the great work.
