This card box is very simple to make from a regular 8 1/2 x 11 inch piece of cardstock (cut to 8 1/2 x 10 inches). And as promised in my previous post, I have included the downloadable photo step-by-step PDF and the diagram for cutting and scoring. It also has the set and accessory list. UPDATED: I realized after posting, that I didn’t specify on the diagram in the PDF where to cut.
The coloring technique was achieved with Watercolor Crayons (Brights #119804) and a blender pen (#102845). The set is the ‘Bordering On Romance’ stamp set (wood #125480, clear #125482) from Stampin’ Up!’s Occasions Mini Catalog.
Of course I guess that I OVERUSE the Sizzix embossing folder ‘Vintage Wallpaper‘… I just stinkin’ love it! And I can’t get enough of the Framelits dies ‘Labels Collection’ (#125598). The colors are all from the ‘brights’ collection Melon Mambo, Old Olive & Pacific Point.
This box is so easy to make… I have a trick for getting the end of it embossed and fitting it through the Big Shot, its in the directions. So, how’d I do? What will you use the box for? How about Mother’s Day stationery set for the mom who has everything?

I just LOVE Bordering on Romance!!! Am so glad I got it. For some reason, I wasn’t thinking that it “showed” very well in the catalog, but in my studio, on my cards, and with my love of watercoloring it doesn’t just border on romance, we’re in a hot relationship, baby! LOL Thanks for your freebie, Amy. You are so generous!
