Sweet Centers Halloween Treat

Sweet Center Stamp Set - Halloween treatsI just *had* to have this set when it became available and then I must admit that I fell down on the job by not actually using it!  This is part of my neverending disappointment at being born into working class… and not having the good sense to at least marry into it <big sigh>, 😉 .

So, I finally got the excuse to play with it for my Stamp a Stack last night where we made this simple ‘post card’ style treat!

I also used the House of Haunts ( #111574) stamped in black and added some spooky sponging with More Mustard and Old Olive inks and sponge daubers.

The ‘tag’ punch makes the perfect headstone… don’t you think?

The Sweet Centers set is an ‘all reason’ set that also  has some cool accessories such as the  clear treat holder cups (#116802, $3.95 for 12) and padded envelopes (#116911, $3.95 for 3) to aid in protecting the cup when mailing.

Sweet Treats Stamp SetThe ‘heart’ stamp has some very awesome Valentine’s day potential and of course the ‘ornament’ top stamp and the hot air balloon stamp look like they would be VERY fun to be creative with!

Enjoy & create!

    Hi Amy,
I love how you layered the card as the background is as inviting to look at as is the top layer. Did you use regular whisper white cardstock or perhaps glossy paper? I think the tombstone is very creative. Nicey done!

My stamp class using this set was a hit. They loved the Sweet Treat cups. Sold many. I wasn’t sure it would be such a hit. Your card will definitely sell the products. So many others thing can be done with the set.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Marge
