Carte Postale (or “going Postale”)

This is a total teaser for Cindy's Winter Mini Catalog Swap.  I am fooling around on my new laptop and should be finishing my swap... I have taken the time to show you guys who didn't sign up what you are missing! The (front) focal image was embossed on vellum cardstock in white and colored from behind in with markers and blended with blender pen then layered onto Vanilla cardstock, torn and ... View Post

Snowflake Embossing Template

I collect these beautiful brass templates, but I don't often use (what have I been thinking!). I only have luck embossing on the white or vanilla cardstock, never colored cardstock--if you've figured out how to pressure emboss on dark colored cardstock, please let me know! Sleigh Full of Toys

Happy Thanksgiving-- hope you find some time to sneak away and stamp! I have to remember to stock up on it before it is gone for good. These wonderful papers create quick colorful layers to any card. I stamped the sleigh in Basic Black and colored it in ... View Post

Peaceful Wishes

This is one of my favorite sets, I just love it so much! My new favorite background is the Flannel Plaid, it makes me warm just looking at it! The pinecones are stamped in Bravo Burgundy and greens in Artichoke, the card is Cranberry Crisp with Bravo Burgundy ink for the Flannel Plaid. The other card is done on Ivory Naturals in Chocolate Chip and Artichoke inks. One of the cards we made at the ... View Post

Snowman Soup

This is an idea I got years ago when I received an "envelope book" in a swap.  I wanted to see more ideas with this style of book, so I had a contest and in it, I got a "snowman soup" entry from that I just LOVED from a Debbie Fisher that I shamelessly CASE'd. I am sharing the photo as well as the Word Documents that have all of the writing that you see on it. Click here ... View Post

Perennial Friendship – Winter Mini Preview

I am diligently working on designing a swap for Amanda C's Winter Mini swap. This is "Perennial Friendship" which would not have been my first choice but it is growing on me! I embossed the tulips in detail white embossing powder on vellum and colored with markers on the back before layering it back onto white cardstock. The decorative paper is the phenomenal new "Enchante" papers that will be ... View Post
