Gone to the dogs…

Aren’t these cute? Made with the "Yappy Day" & "Here Kitty Kitty" sets (pg. 64 in the 2008 Spring/Summer collection. My favorite is the "Happy Birthday from the Cat"! I have three cats and a dog so that appeals to me.
We will be making these as our service project at our team Rubber Stamp Festival, Sat., Feb. 23rd at Pike Creek Christian School, Newark, DE. We will be donating these ‘altered treats’ to Companimals Pet Rescue’s new adoption shelter in Landenberg, PA, for them to resell. We are also accepting dog/cat food, kitty litter, etc. donations.
I need some cat ideas (send them on please!), I saw "Kitty Caviar" treats sold at an upscale Palm Springs pet shop and need to come up with fancy packing (I need equal time for kitties!) for that. Okay, any ideas to share with me?

Yes, I know that it is a pretty obnoxious saying, but my kids loved it… and a word of warning about the pink candy corn (I got it at Walmart): it smells like chemicals and tastes even worse… but it matches our Pretty in Pink and Real Red as well as the added bonus that my kids won’t eat it before I can finish making these to give out, LOL!
I put my sticker on the back (shameless advertising, I know) because it is a great ice breaker as well as example of what you can do with rubber stamps. Okay, so what’s your opinion?

You crack me up…

This set "A Good Egg" will be the set included in my Rubber Stamp Festival on Saturday, Feb. 23rd! I love the saying "you crack me up", it really does crack me up! I used the ‘Fall Flowers’ designer series paper and a few punches and very very little coloring.

Hello from sunny Palm Springs…

I have been busy, busy, busy getting ready for Stampin’ Up!’s leadership in Palm Springs… sorry for not posting or any newsletters, LOL! Below is my hotel (pretty awesome!) and the weather is beautiful.
I am excited to get back and announce online sign up for our Sale-A-Bration Stamp Festival which will be on Saturday, February 23rd… it will include a stamp set and I am 99% sold on which one but I wish to see the Stampin’ Up! displays to make sure of my decision. So… wait and I’ll post the online sign up (or you can stalk my online Calendar page for the sign up link).

Meanwhile, I look forward to sharing samples that I have made, photos of display boards and my swaps with you guys… which will be recycled into my classes!
