Au Chocolat Father’s Day Card

Okay, this definately lacks a WOW factor, but it is a quick use of the Designer Series papers "Au Chocolat" for my Grads & Dads themed Stamp a Stack of Stuff class this month.  I am not a dots and stripes person, but I absolutely love the paisleys and other "flourish" style designs on this "Chocolate Chip" and Vanilla printed papers. So, the card is half decorative paper and the other half ... View Post

Graduation Card – Redux

Okay, so not so different from the one I posted yesterday, but I will say that I will miss "Tassle Time" because of all of the coordinating images. It is killing me not to be able to see the new catalog... I really can't wait! . . . . . ... View Post

Graduation Card…

I designed this last year and was thinking of passing it off again at my May "Stamp a Stack" but I've decided that I won't be lazy, I'll come up with another one for tomorrow night! This is made from the soon to be retiring set "Tassle Time" in Bravo Burgundy & More Mustard.  The "hat" is two squares and some magic with a pop dot and the tassle is our black hemp and a strategically placed ... Leaf Folio

Here is another "teaser" for my Stamp a Stack this month.  This little folio is a dollar store pad (4/$1) attached to a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 scored and cut to hold it in a fold over folio. I love the Autumn Leaf Prints set and am very sorry to see it go!  The paper is Sahara Sand, Artichoke & Vanilla.  Inks are Mellow Moss & Artichoke.  Some hemp & Hodgepodge Hardware do the trick to ... Father’s Day/Masculine Card

I will be sharing samples from my May "Stamp a Stack of Stuff" this Thursday with the "Dads & Grads" theme.  Masculine cards are not always easy to think up with the abundance of beautiful floral sets! I saw this idea done in a recent magazine and got to thinking that our "Sentimental Journey" Designer Series papers fit PERFECTLY into little "shirts". The neck was "notched" out at the top, ... “Doodle That” Card!

I LOVE this happy card!  It is Cool Caribbean/Pretty In Pink & Black which works very well together.  The background is  "doodles" from "Doodle This" in craft white.  All other "doodles" and flowers are from the "Doodle That" set. The words are from Cheery Chat which is also a discontinuing sets that I will miss.  I don't like change, but I am very much looking forward to the new catalog, I ... View Post

Tag You’re It!

I have been tagged twice now and have a hard time coming up with only 7 blogs and 7 things about me! So, I will share several things about me (READ: more than you want to know...) I am married going on 21 wonderful years (and all to the same guy!). I am a "mean mommy" and proud of it.  "If you like me, I'm not doing my job" is my motto, so "Darth Mom" is what I will be until they get older (and ... View Post

Accents & Elements Accordion Tin

This is an accordion book made from the Accents & Elements "Little Reminders" stickers and the tin itself!  This is another teaser for tomorrows Stamp Festival for those of you who are attending. This view is the back side of the album which I used the Cool Carribean & Certainly Celery cardstock as the fold out pages.  This design used quite a lot of the stickers and I LOVE this ... Petal Prints Bookmark Card

I mourn the loss of Petal Prints, a wonderfully artistic set, in advance of its retirement in June.  I am hoping that I get a similar one in it's place and/or a combination of the Petal Prints II set (last year mini catalog) and this set "resurrected".  I can only hope! The colors are Always Artichoke, Kraft paper, Vintage Violet & Cranberry Crisp--again paper colors that I will miss.  I ... View Post

Crab & Co. Diorama Card

I first saw these "diorama" cards demo'd at leadership, but always thought that it would be a lot of work (and I am LAZY!!!) Well, I saw this easy Tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.com and THEN in less that a month, saw some awesome samples by Margie Roderer who showed me how easy it was with three strips of paper and I was hooked... I had to try it. I am pleased with the results done with Crab ... View Post

Blessing Your Garden of Friendships – Reaping what you sow!

The inspiration for this project is from the very lovely and talented Amanda Coughlin as usual!  I did a "remake" of it from a WOW swap she did a year back. This is another Stamp Festival teaser for those of you attending next Saturday! The sets used are Bodacious Blossom, the matching brass template and my new favorite Spring Mini Set, Office Accoutrements (I love that set so much I can now ... View Post

Pocket Full of Punch Samples

This "Punch Sample Book" is the gift that each attendee received for RSVP'ing in advance and coming to the Quarterly team meeting last night.  I had a great time and hope you did too! The labels that I used to label the punches can be downloaded here. They get printed on "return address" sized labels (1/2 inch x 1 3/4 inch) and there are two sets of labels per sheet.  This is a nice hostess gift ... View Post
