Au Chocolat Father’s Day Card
Posted: Sunday, May 27th, 2007 | Comments
Okay, this definately lacks a WOW factor, but it is a quick use of the Designer Series papers “Au Chocolat” for my Grads & Dads themed Stamp a Stack of Stuff class this month.
I am not a dots and stripes person, but I absolutely love the paisleys and other “flourish” style designs on this “Chocolate Chip” and Vanilla printed papers.
So, the card is half decorative paper and the other half (on the vanilla) is stamped in Chocolate Chip ink and colored very lightly with Creamy Caramel ink.
It definately needed a larger/different embellishment than the simple use of a hodgepodge hardware shown with some taupe grosgrain but my mind was blank at the time.
I had tried to sponge the edges but it looked better “clean” (take my word on that).

Graduation Card – Redux

Okay, so not so different from the one I posted yesterday, but I will say that I will miss “Tassle Time” because of all of the coordinating images.
It is killing me not to be able to see the new catalog… I really can’t wait!

Graduation Card…
Posted: Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007 | Comments
I designed this last year and was thinking of passing it off again at my May “Stamp a Stack” but I’ve decided that I won’t be lazy, I’ll come up with another one for tomorrow night!
This is made from the soon to be retiring set “Tassle Time” in Bravo Burgundy & More Mustard. The “hat” is two squares and some magic with a pop dot and the tassle is our black hemp and a strategically placed glue dot held into the center by a black brad.
I am trying to improve the WOW factor of my photographs and am still experimenting.

Leaf Folio
Posted: Monday, May 21st, 2007 | Comments
Here is another “teaser” for my Stamp a Stack this month. This little folio is a dollar store pad (4/$1) attached to a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 scored and cut to hold it in a fold over folio.
I love the Autumn Leaf Prints set and am very sorry to see it go!
The paper is Sahara Sand, Artichoke & Vanilla. Inks are Mellow Moss & Artichoke. Some hemp & Hodgepodge Hardware do the trick to accessorize it.
The diagram for cutting this project is on my “Project Gallery” at www.ustamp4fun.com/projectgallery.htm .
