This is such a fabulous set! I just finished my swap for Amanda C’s SAB Swap (due tomorrow, oops!).  (Amanda if you are reading this I sent it overnight this morning….).

I got the unique “fold” idea from a card swap last year.  The stamp set is Happy Harmony (see SAB flyer) and features the flower as well as several greetings.  This is done in Perfect Plum & Mellow Moss inks and markers and “watercolored” with the Aquapainter.

The decorative paper is the Enchante Desiger Series double sided paper featured for a limited time in the 2007 Winter Mini Catalog.  You can view the entire SAB catalog here, but it is a PDF and will require Adobe Reader.  The catalog features 5 sets and one Scrappin’ Memories kit that you can ONLY get free with your $50 purchase.

Peaceful Wishes

I had to share this morning (but I really need to actually get off the computer, put the stamps down and take a shower!

I am in a cookie exchange with a bunch of fabulously talented ladies whom I will try (and possibly fail) to outdo– to “package” my cookies more creatively than the next.

This is a simple basic pattern that I made with 12×12 (getting two “boxes” cutting 6×12).  Download pattern HERE.  Tell me what you think… see more photos of this project and more with Peaceful Wishes on my website.

Blossoms Abound Gift Card HolderThis great “gift card” holder is actually two large envelopes (4 3/4 x 6 1/2) attached at the tops. One flap is glued inside the other flap to hindge like a book.  I used Lovely Lilac cardstock to line the envelopes (just enough for where it shows) to cover the fact that they are envelopes.

You can buy the mini 3×3 envelopes in packages of 40 now, which I LOVE–I can make 3×3 cards from any color I want.  Now, for my big wish–getting the “mini” envelopes (3 x 4 1/4) alone… again, I like to cut my mini cards from scraps of colored paper.  I do use the mini notecards, but mostly on a cardfront!

The set featured is Blossoms Abound (more samples here). The color combination is Lovely Lilac & Almost Amethyst.  I used sponging and also repetition of the detail lilac on the background for effect.

The “hinges” are the Word Window punch and mini gold brads.  This was part of a “With One Set” class that I did this summer.

Festive Friends Gift TagI have been part of two awesome Winter Mini Catalog swaps and I have uploaded on of them here on my Gallery display site.

After I upload the next 32 from the second swap, I will also have them listed in my “Samples by Set” section by stamp set.

Merry Photo CardThis adorable shaker card is made from Holiday Tag Team and Merry which is part of the “Holidays at Half Off” the month of December! This card is actually one of my Christmas cards last year.  It features a photo of my children on our Stampin’ Up! Western Carribean Cruise last April.  What a blast we had!

A few years ago, I sent both a “Christmas Newsletter” (mostly to family and friends far away) and also stamped cards to others.  I really wanted all my Christmas correspondence to be stamped so I  created a Word template that satisfy my desire to send a photo with a few words PLUS still be a stamped card.

CLICK HERE to download the Microsoft Word template that is basically a 4 cell table (2 columns, 2 rows) each cell with a text box.  Customize the first text box and cut and paste for the rest. Print on photo paper and cut in quarters and then each one 1/8 of an inch off each side so it will nest inside the card framed by the card color.
