This neat little 'envelope trick' idea was given to me by my wonderful & talented friend Amanda Coughlin from whom I steal ideas from all the time! She made a card with insert like this last spring for a swap. Of course I run with her great ideas (and then unfortunately I am the one remembered for them not her!). Leave her a sympathy message on her blog, LOL! UPDATED INFO --The ... View Post
Thankful Season Card
This is a sample from my August Stamp-A-Stack of stuff... and I'm not done with the projects that I am doing with this terrific set, so don't miss September's class! UPDATE: I colored in using the watercolor crayons (almost like outlines) and blending very gently with the Aquapainters, taking care to wipe off excess crayon to leave light and dark spots, the leaves are all sponged in Artichoke ... I am posting quickly because I am going in for a brief surgical interlude this morning and wishing it was some nip/tuck... I have a bothersome little cholesteatoma that keeps growing back in my inner ear. Its a benign tumor but it erodes bone & nerve and this ... View Post
More ‘Secret Garden’

The center 'pocket' is made from envelopes glued together to form an accordion pocket and the 'tabs' are stickers from the memory kit that you use to pull up the card. Wish I had gotten photos from the top! The book is 6 x 6 x 1/2 inch when closed. I cut two ... View Post
