I needed a quick easy non-card idea for an event I was doing this weekend and got the inspiration from SUDSOL (Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing Online). The dedication of these volunteers is so incredible. SUDSOL helped me a lot as a new demo years ago looking for ideas and advice and I still use it today! On the SUDSOL mailing list, Patti Scanlon helped a demo looking for a certain pattern, narrow down her search and since the links were there in her email… well, I was nosy! One of the links was three stamp camp ideas by a demonstrator in Columbus, Ohio named Connie Babbert (who has given me permission to reprint the directions). Thank you Connie! The fold over is 2 1/2 x 8 inches and scored at 2 1/2, 2 5/8, 5 1/2 & 5 5/8 inches. The Word Window punch is the pocket opening of the bottom flap and the stamps are the Polka Dots & Paisleys stamp set, the Petals jumbo roller wheel and the decorator paper (Petals & Paisleys) is layered on So Saffron cardstock. I embellished the cover with the Spring Bouquet flower punch. For SU demonstrators, the link directly to all three of her stamp camp projects is here, but you need to be a site member to view the page. Luckily SU demonstrators try a two week free trial membership–you’ll be amazed by the wealth of patterns, templates and business ideas you will get. You may also get a lot of emails, LOL!

Amy,
After reading your post I decided to join SUDSOL! Sounds like it is a great resource.

I just ran across your blog, love this idea and was reading that someone by the name of Patti Scanlon. I think I know her from years ago (back in 1996?) I signed up to be a SU demonstrator and I think she was my upline. We lost contact. I searched splitcoast but it didn’t find that name. Can you get her email from SUDSOL and send it to me?
Thank you,
Donna

Hi Amy,
Love this posting idea. Thanks for sharing. I’m not a demonstrator, but a huge follow-er of my SU demonstrator here in Portland, OR, Mary Kuch-Nagle and I saw you mention the name of Patti Scanlon who I believe I know from 1996 (I was a SU demonstrator for a brief time) and lost contact with Patti. Can you by any chance forward her email address for me? I’m hoping by posting this comment you have my email contact. Thanks,
Donna
