Pocket Notes “Purse”

This purse is made from the “Pocket Notes” in the current Winter Mini Catalog (available only until February 28th!).

The note inside “You’re a special ‘purse-on’, worth more than a mint!” and adding a score line to make a pocketbook idea was totally stolen from one of my partners in crime Amanda Coughlin (see her new blog and tell her how talented she is!).

The other set used is “Be Happy” and the embellishments are Ribbon Originals “Sweet Shop” and square metal edge tags.

This is a cute little gift idea and I am sorry to see the Pocket Notes go away, I love the way it closes with the slit.  The “key tag” punch done with coordinating cardstock makes the flap longer and folds over into the slit to keep the pocketbook closed with the mint in it.

I made one of these at the winter stamp festival. I wish SU would put the “pocket notes” in their 07-08 catalog – I really like them!
