Seaside Birthday Card

SeasideI just absolutely love this set of seashells… and unfortunately it doesn’t appear to be being replaced in the new catalog…

Seaside #113512 features 5 shells and is $25.95.  You can view the set online in my post last week.

The card is whisper white and the pink toile print is from Bella Birds designer series paper (also retiring June 30th).

SeasideDetailThe body of the card is Bordering Blue and sponged with  White Crafter’s ink.  The shells on pink paper were embossed in white and sponged in Pink Pirouette.

The conch shell was embossed in white on Whisper White paper and sponged with daubers in Pink Pirouette and Bordering Blue inks.

The greeting and other shells were stamped in White crafter’s ink.

I earned Stampin’ Up!’s cruise as of last Friday and believe me, it has been *years* since I’ve earned it on them amount of sales.  So, the good new is that even in this tough economic times, my sales are higher than they’ve been in years.

Isn’t that one more reason to consider direct sales as a business?  You’ll LOVE your boss and you can’t be fired.

Amy, this is such a gorgeous use of this stamp set. I bought it some time back but haven’t really been that inspired to use it until now! How did you manage to get the sandy gritty background, it just sets it off a treat. =D
