This is an adorable ‘coaster’ calendar with altered ‘jumbo clip’ and matching ‘pocketbook’ which is actually a Junior Mints box covered with the ‘Porcelain Prints’ designer series paper which are part of the Designer Series SPECIAL this month! By the way, the covered coaster calendar with altered clip was inspiration from a gift from Trisha Wampler who gave me one with a post it note pad on it (too stinkin’ cute!) and I made it with tiny calendars I got from www.Vippies.com.
Come to my class this coming Thursday (see my class calendar to RSVP) and get the chance to make them and some very cool holiday cards!
Sorry for the delay in posting my weekly idea, I am just back from Chicago and the ‘StampersInStitches’ all team meeting of Stampin’ Up demonstrators where I presented my ‘envelope tricks’ to a wonderfuly welcoming group of demonstrators under the fabulous and famous Glenda Travelstead (top demonstrator and advisory board member). I’ve decided that I have to come up with some other way to get myself invited to present again!
And lastly, THE WINNER IS… I presented a challenge to my customers to join my Feedburner email reminders list by November 1st and the winner is Kim Scheffler for not only joining but giving me feedback! Contact me for your $15 in free product Kim!

I love the way the chipboard coaster looks like a tiny clipboard! I have a ton of those coasters and just bought deco binder clips… now I know why! Thanks for the awesome idea. Just in time to use up all my Stamp On This! calendars, too!

How did you cover the jr. mints box? Any directions you have for this project would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks again, Janet

Believe it or not, I covered the mint box with a long strip of Designer Series Paper cut the width of the box and then long enough to wrap completely around (vertically) and come back around to the front, where I clipped the corners with the corner rounder.
