I first saw these “diorama” cards demo’d at leadership, but always thought that it would be a lot of work (and I am LAZY!!!)
Well, I saw this easy Tutorial on Splitcoaststampers.com and THEN in less that a month, saw some awesome samples by Margie Roderer who showed me how easy it was with three strips of paper and I was hooked… I had to try it.
I am pleased with the results done with Crab & Company from the Spring Mini Catalog in Blush Blossom, Bashful Blue & Almost Amethyst. I used sponge daubers and white crafters ink for the sea foam–the inspiration for the color scheme was from an exceptional swapper named Carol Nordquist in MN who did a flat card in these colors with this set. Thank you Carol!
