This card was a serious challenge to photograph, but worth the effort.  I made it back in August, and is featured in my August "Stamp-A-Stack of Stuff" class. Unfortunately I have since lost the original card (it was probably ‘borrowed out’ grrrr…).  Doesn’t the card center appear to float on the middle?!  I now have my class outlines (supplies needed, finished photo and step by step) available for purchase now on my ‘Class Outlines’ page and this is in the August ’07 one.   

I used overhead transparencies (Office Max) and cut them to 6×6 cards (that will fit in Stampin’ Up!®’s 6 1/2 x6 1/2 envelopes) and stamped the snowflakes in white StazOn® on both the front and the back so that that you will always see snowflakes even with the card open but none of them ‘overlap’ each other when closed.  (That’s a little OCD problem I had with it… but it worked out!).  We sell StazOn® in white, black and brown and (yeah, finally… the StazOn® cleaner, yeah!).

I have shown (left) the card (well, what is used as the card base) before adhering the front and inside layers.  The card ‘front’ has both a panel on the front and also the back of the front inside (to hide the monoadhesive).  The inside greeting was carefully adhered with mono in each corner so that I didn’t have to put another layer on the very back (what me, lazy?). 

I used the beautiful Sleigh Bells Ring set and the new Snowfall set. Most of the main image was sponged with sponge daubers and then touched up with markers for an ‘early winter morning’ look to this peaceful landscape sketch.
