Sizzix Bigz XL Die Pop Up 3-Tier Cake -- click for larger viewThe Deal of the Week is amazing this week!

I wish that I could WOW you with my own use of this awesome Sizzix die, but since I can’t, I will WOW you with Karen Burniston’s (the artist that designed this die for Sizzix).  See all the ‘Deals of the Week’ here.

Check out the awesome article and use of this die with all current Stampin’ Up! product. While you are there, the article also shows the Pop Up Ball template as well.

She also created a more user friendly ‘how-to’ PDF for the pop up cake and is allowing me to make the download for that available as well (leaving you no excuse but to buy it!).   Click here to download the instructions & troubleshooting guide for the 3-tier pop up cake die, and be sure to leave Karen feedback on her blog about how awesome she is!

I also wish that I could bring myself to make this, but I’d have to REALLY like you to make more than even one of them as an invitation, LOL!   Thank you again Karen for permission to share this here.

So, what are you waiting for?!  Don’t you have that Sizzix Big Shot yet?  By the way, we sell the Sizzix Big Shot for $99 but it includes the multi-purpose platform and a set of standard cutting pads–making that bundle a deal.

And, by the way, the Bigz XL dies, such as the cake one, requires the extended cutting pads (#113478, $19.95).  Any questions, contact me.

Look Here Pop Up Die Christmas CardHad an awesome time last night at the “Impress Me! Team Quarterly Meeting” at my home.  I loved seeing you all and wish that more of you could have attended.

I have a gift in the mail for my ‘long distance’ team members, so keep an eye out for it!

The theme this time was the Sizzix XL dies and we made a pop up Christmas Card with the Sizzix Bigz XL Die “Pop Up Look Here” Die and the new mini catalog set ‘Delightful Decorations’ with *matching* punch!!!

On the pop up card, I also used our new snowflake punch as well as the Sizzix ‘Textured Impressions Embossing Folder’ “Finial Press on the cover and inside layers. CLICK HERE for the video tutorial on how to make a pop up card using the Sizzix XL Die ‘Pop Up Look Here’..

In keeping with the ’3D Die’ themed meeting, my daughter, Elizabeth (11 yrs. old) did her first demonstration (as an official ‘demonstrator-in-training’) of how to assemble the Sizzix XL pop up die ‘O Christmas Tree’ (something her mother has not quite mastered yet).

We also made a Thanksgiving card with the new ‘Gifts of the Season and exciting new designer paper ‘Autumn Meadows,’ that I will be sharing in my next post.

It was wonderful seeing everyone… thanks for the sharing from all those who demo’d their latest creations and got a gift from me for their ‘Five Minutes of Fame’!

Mark your calendar for Thurs., January 28th at 7:00 pm… but be on the lookout for a Shoebox Swap before that date!
