I am working on my blog’s new home here at www.ustamp4fun.com!
Please note, those of you on ‘e-mail subscription’ don’t have to change anything, but those of you who are subscribed in a reader will have to bookmark my new feed address (here!).
I LOVE birds! When I saw this set in the new catalog, I had to have it! You know it is spring when the birds wake you up in the morning. It has been a personally stressful the last few weeks and a half and it has been chillier and rainier than usual it seems.
So, to the details: the bird is colored in with Creamy Caramel and Bashful Blue markers (with a lot of ‘white space’ to suggest highlights). The outside of the bird is gently outlined with Sahara Sand marker. I love Sahara Sand, it is quite remarkable how it blends so nicely in with whatever color it is put with. On this palette it appears to be a lighter shade of moss, but with blue, it will pick up that color. The Sahara Sand marker is not in the color families but is a ‘Neutral’ color. If you don’t have one, you really need it but it can only be bough separately (not in with a family of markers).
The ‘branch’ I added over the stamped branch is twigs from my broomstick (yes, I have a real witches broomstick) wrapped together with a bit of raffia that I dyed brown with a dauber.
Below is a side view to help you see the details as well:

So I’m assuming you will post from the other website? I really like your blog posts on amycelona.com and hope you continue posting things like this. You really inspire! Thanks!

Nothing will change… I am importing this whole blog and continuing to share stamped ideas. My website will be there in the background as well. It should be wonderful (or it will be a nightmare, LOL!).
My intent is to have ‘one’ website address for everything (fingers crossed it goes well).
