Best Dad Ever Father’s Day Card

Stampin' Up! Set Best Dad Ever

Stampin' Up! Set Best Dad Ever

I got this idea a few years ago from a very talented downline, Cindy Lieberman–I copied her layout for this card, and updated the papers and colors (this is the new ‘Comfort Cafe’ designer paper I used on the last post–fabulously versatile prints)!

Here’s a picture of the set (click for actual size):

And the photo below doesn’t do the designs justice:

Comfort Cafe Designer Paper

Below are the accessories that I used and this is a FABULOUSLY quick card to do… by the way I don’t thread the button, I tied the bow and then used a glue do to hold it to the button.  These old eyes ain’t what they used to be.  So now it is a toss up between this one and the boat one for dad… but he was in the Navy, so I’m still going with the ship!

The Open Sea Father's Day Card

The Open Sea Father's Day Card

The Open Sea Father's Day Card SideView Yeah, yeah… looks suspiciously like last year’s card, but my ‘dad’ in law is 89 years old and I’m hoping that he doesn’t remember it is suspiciously similar!

But hey, the designer paper is new… it is one of the diverse new paper collections called ‘Comfort Cafe.’  And as a bonus, I am sharing the materials below:
