Tri-Shutter Thanksgiving Card
Posted: Thursday, November 19th, 2009 | Comments
Okay, this might be my last ‘Thanksgiving’ share!
The ‘tri-shutter’ card looks a lot harder than it actually is (as evidenced by the fact that I could do this at all!).
I hand scored/cut all of the tri-shutter cards for our Fall Stamp Festival that I am sharing here. The good news is that I can now officially cut and score one of these in my sleep!
I have included the diagram… you know the drill, score on dotted line, cut on the solid lines… fold as shown (first time is the hardest).
The paper is the awesome (and limited time only) designer series paper ‘Autumn Meadows’ (#116769) and the greetings from the limited edition set ‘Grateful Greetings’ (#116511). The stamped leaves (center panel) are also limited edition, ‘Autumn Splendor’ (#116503, $20.95). And all of the above can be viewed in the Holiday Mini Catalog here and, of course, purchased through my online store!
The awesome 3D leaves is the Sizzix die ‘Leaves #2′ (#113459 for $15.95) and I used both solid papers (stamped with texture stamps) as well as cut the designer series papers.
But I’d really have to like you for you to get this for Thanksgiving!

Fall Leaves Stationery Holder
Posted: Tuesday, November 10th, 2009 | CommentsThis is a very simple ‘pocketbook’ style stationery holder that looks more involved because of how it is decorated.
You can click to download the step-by-step instructions as well as diagrams and recipe on how to make this easy but very functional card holder.
If you are in the Philadelphia area this weekend, I will be at the Sheridan, King of Prussia, PA as a vendor at the ScrappingGetaways.com and this will be one of my ‘classes on demand’ (basically you can walk up and do a class with me). For more information about the ScrappingGetaway.com event, click here or email me personally.

Autumn Days Stair Step Card
Posted: Saturday, November 7th, 2009 | CommentsThis simple ‘Stair Step’ card was inspired by a swap I received at convention. I thought that it was a unique way to show off several ‘layers’ of interest before the main card.
And it stands nicely too! I’ve seen it before without the side ‘bar’ (seen here with herringbone patterned paper) however without it, it isn’t very strong. You can be sure the you’ll see
me use it more.
