Yeah! I’m playing with my new mini catalog sets (when I should be sleeping). My surgery went well and while the growth in my middle ear did come back, hopefully it has been removed it for good (fingers crossed!). The ear aches a bit and my lower lip and tongue is somewhat numb in some spots (not sure why that is) but nothing bad. Thank you all for the good thoughts! The packing comes out in a few weeks and I guess I’ll see then (or hear then, LOL)!
This new set is Holy Triptych and if you can’t wait to see it all… you can view the Holiday Mini Catalog online HERE!
I’ll try to explain the details… but I can tell you that this card looks better in person. I embossed the Holy Family in white on vellum cardstock and then colored with markers and blended with blender pens on the back and then mounted it again on white paper.
I played with the contrast on the photo so you can see the details better… The starburst in the background is the new set “Snow Burst” embossed with Iridescent Ice over Versamark and the greeting is the new set “Star Studded Season” embossed in white on Bashful Blue.
I am supposed to make 25 of these for a swap due on Monday so I’m going to need a colossal burst of energy (READ: small miracle) for that to happen!

“Priceless” Accordion Card

Am I fixated on accordion style cards? Well it may be I am!
I was feeling guilty about the lack of posting I have done this month! I am posting quickly because I am going in for a brief surgical interlude this morning and wishing it was some nip/tuck… I have a bothersome little cholesteatoma that keeps growing back in my inner ear. Its a benign tumor but it erodes bone & nerve and this is Dr. Texidio’s third go at it… any part of it that is left grows back! I am thinking that the cells are all in league with the fat cells on my butt and are all out of my control (vast conspiracy).
Time to go, my hubby is calling me…

More ‘Secret Garden’
Filed Under Memory Project, Scrappin' Memories | 4 Comments

Again, this is my favorite Scrappin’ Memories Kit! I do really love them all and will be publishing them in upcoming blog entries… a full tutorial on how to make these great 6×6 albums are on my Project Gallery.
On a personal note, I will be at the Stampin’ Up! Regional Conference on Saturday, September 15th in Philadelphia with some team members and friends. I am so excited it is back on the East coast again! Anyway, I was looking forward to enjoying it as a slacker UNITL I was called by Stampin’ Up! to share a “5 minute “Workshop WOW” while I’m there… I’m not sure if the butterflies in my stomach are excitement (or if I’m just going to toss my lunch at the thought!).
I’m usually the ’big mouth in the back of the room’ so it should be interesting to present to a few hundred very saavy
demonstrators (instead of unsuspecting, possibly creatively-impaired ‘friends of the hostess’ who came to her workshop because the hostess came to her Longerberger party, LOL!).
On another personal note, I am excited to be nominated as a “Creative Blogger” by Yvonne Campbell a demonstrator in the newly added (the the Stampin’ Up! world) country of Australia. You can see her site at www.campbellcreations.net)… give her your excitement and kudos for ‘going where few have gone before’ and conquering Australia for Stampin’ Up!
I have also been tagged a “Rockin’ Girl Blogger” by Julie Ferguson (www.jadesbutterflies.blogspot.com). I have taken too long I think to acknowedge these and I will be nominating
my own picks very soon!
