Thinlits dies to DIE for!

Stampin' Up! has released some new awesome Thinlits dies that cut flip cards! There are two to choose from! Watch this short video below for details. If you are reading this via email, click here to watch the video.

Stampin' Up! Label Card Thinlits Die

These new card dies come with extra die pieces that have versatile designs, so you can use them on other projects, not just flip cards. (The Circle Card Thinlits Die comes with 10 total pieces; the Label Card Thinlits Die comes with nine total pieces.). And with the number of dies you're getting, plus the die that creates the card itself, the price is a great value-especially to create an interactive card!

  • Easy to mass produce flip cards, they would make great announcements, invitations, or Christmas cards.
  • These Thinlits Card Dies will be available at least through the 2013-2014 catalog year, but get yours now, because they are not in the catalog.

PLUS The main shape in the cards (circle and label) can work with a lot of our stamp images so you can create tons of different kinds of cards using many different stamp sets.
Here are just a few suggestions to get you started:

Label Card Thinlits Die (item 133479):

  • Happy Day Stamp Set (item 130294 W item 130297 C)

Circle Card Thinlits Die (item 133480):

  • Worth the Wait Stamp (item 131094 W)
  • Five-Way Flower Stamp (item 131088 W)

Both card dies pair well with:

  • Oh, Hello Stamp Set (item 131931 W item 130733 C)
  • Yippee-Skippee! Stamp Set (item 131341 W item 131344 C)
  • Really Good Greetings Stamp Set (item 130330 W item 130333 C)
  • Regarding Dahlias Stamp Set (item 130324 W item 130327 C)
  • These dies also work well with our new magnetic platform (item 130658) so you can place the dies exactly where you want them!

Stampin’ Up! Convention 2013 Display Boards

DSCF1629

Yes, it's that time of the year again! Again, I've taken photos of the Stampin' Up! displays (there are about 500 of them in this gallery!) Click on the first thumbnail and clicking on it brings on the next photo. There are about 50 per page, so prepare to be here awhile!

In each frame, I focused on 2-6 samples or in many cases 1 so that you can view the detail easily. I've paid special attention to the company made board as well as the Artisan Showcase. Crazy talented people out there!

By The Tide Shabby Chic Lobster

ByTheTide_lobster

ByTheTideLobsterSide
ByTheTideLobster I'm on a roll, sharing the 'By The Tide' Stampin' Up! Set. And I have to admit that I took some flack over this card at the festival that I featured it at, people didn't really think that the shabby chic really went with lobster. Or maybe I missed the mark on the definition of 'shabby chic'? Oh well.

And the most DIFFICULT thing to find was the cotton gauze–apparently the stuff I had in my medicine closet is the old style–now it is all stretchy type that doesn't fray… I went nuts looking for it. Ended up going to a hospital supply store and having to by a roll of like 500 yards of it, LOL!  You guys can appreciate going to stores and trying to explain that 'well, I'm not really using it for wound dressing, I just wanted the stuff that frayed…' oh yeah, get her a rubber padded room (stat).

Anyway, I've included my step by step photo instructions (warning: don't download it if you don't like it, LOL!). You can view the stamp set here.

What can I say? I'll let you decide. Hit or miss? My fate is in your hands.

And I'm sorry my feed service kicked out a January post the other day… Feedburner is no longer very reliable and I think my upgrades on my site caused Feedburner to overreact.

Nature Walk… going, going…

HostessGiftSet

Thumb

I will truly miss this set Nature Walk (wood / clear) when the current 2012-13 Stampin’ Up! catalog EXPIRES this Friday, May 31st!

I made this little ensemble last year as a gift set for my wonderful hostesses. The detail on this fabulous botanical set is amazing. I would love more of this type of ‘artistic’ rubber stamp sets–and I look forward to sharing the new catalog with you guys!

You can see ALL of the retiring sets HERE.
